Elizabeth believes her mysterious lawn disappearance is a case of theft, as she noticed smaller pieces of the turf and small plants still there.
As surprising as it might sound, a house owner in UK woke up to a bizarre surprise at her home when she learnt that her entire lawn was missing from the garden. Elizabeth, 62 (who didn’t disclose her full name) was in utter disbelief to learn from her son who first noticed the mysterious disappearance of the lawn.
Before you could think of aliens and goblins casting a magical spell so that the lawn was mysteriously disappeared, Elizabeth has a different story to tell. She suspect this comical yet strange incident to be a ”case of theft”. She stated that the lawn was not a natural one but an artificial AstroTurf patch.

She had secured it with tape and also planted stones and plants on top of it. She believes it wouldn’t possibly have been blown away by the winds. She suspects someone might have stolen it while she was asleep at night. Elizabeth says she has an emotional connect with the lawn as it came to her from her deceased mother-in-law and costed £100.
She explains that her son did ask her what happened to the turf. She did retort saying ”What do you mean?” and headed out to see it herself. She feels that its been rolled out and pulled up and could not believe it and feels it is sort of comical incident however wonders why would someone want to steal it.
She feels someone might have sneaked in and rolled it up as she noticed smaller pieces of the turf still there along with some damaged plants, adding testimony of what she believes it to be a case of theft.
