DU UG Registration 2020: The University of Delhi (DU) is set to release the admission forms for various undergraduate, postgraduate, Mphil, and PhD courses today, according to reports. Eligible candidates can visit Delhi University’s official registration portal – du.ac.in to register themselves for DU admissions 2020. The registration process will be open until July 4. However, the DU authority is yet to officially announce the opening of the online registration process. Reports said that NTA would also be releasing the notification for the admission and DUET entrance schedule today.
This year the aspirants whose results are yet to be declared will be given another chance to upload their marks once the result is declared. A meeting was held under the academic council, it was suggested that the online registration portal will be reopened from July 31 to August 9 for students to update their class 12 marks. Last year the online registration process began form May 30, till June 22. The admission process has been delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak this year.

Students are required to enter all the important details, they can visit the portal to upload the marks once CBSE declares the Class 12th results. Students need to save the downloaded copy of their registration for future reference after payment of the DU application fee online.
This year, five cut-off lists will be released for the DU undergraduate admissions. After the final 5th cut-off list is released the special cut-off list for general category students will also be released. There would be a special drive organized for reserved seats. As per some new rules introduced this year, there would be a 10% increase under the EWS category from an earlier 15% reservation.
For students who wish to study social work and the subject of philosophy, no deduction of marks would take place for them. However, for the students of B.Com and Economic Honours standard math and applied math have been taken into consideration.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the university would not have trials for sports and Extra-Curricular activities. No admission would take place in ECA except for NCC and NSS that too on the basis of the certificates as no trials would be conducted, said a Delhi University official.
