Intermediate Students at Guwahati University in Assam is all set to be promoted. Gu has announced the examination dates of PG and UG exams 2020 on the varsity's official website.

Guwahati University decided to promote intermediate students on the basis of their internal assessment marks, but for the students who are pursuing Post Graduate and Under Graduate, the Guwahati University decided to conduct their final semester exam in the second week of September.
The exams for final semester students will be conducted in “blended mode” ( Blended learning is an approach to education that combines online educational materials and opportunities for interaction online with traditional place-based classroom methods. It requires the physical presence of both teacher and student, with some elements of student control over time, place, path, or pace.), from the second week of September. The decision has been made in a meeting chaired by the Vice-chancellor of the university.

The university said, the conduct of GU exam 2020 for final semester students will be released two weeks prior to the date of examination, and for this conduct of GU exam, there will be an official notification which is going to be released on their official website.
For undergraduate and postgraduate students having arrears, internal assessment marks required to be submitted by the colleges and departments on or before August 14, Gauhati University further said.
Filling up of examination form for both regular and arrear students is mandatory, for evaluation and promotion, the notification further said. The university has also decided to waive off 20% of the total examination fee for all examinations.

Examination of final semester Engineering courses will also be held online. Details of the online exam will be released soon, the GU official website as notification said.
For B.Ed examinations, a separate notification will be issued shortly by the university, Gauhati University said.
