IBPS RRB Recruitment: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS has opened the online applications for the upcoming IBPS RRB Prelims 2020 which is expected to be held in August. IBPS is conducting the RRB recruitment process through its official website ibps.in for hiring fresh candidates in the Banking sector this year. The IBPS RRB Online Application process for Officer Scale I, Officer Scale-II, Officer Scale III and Office Assistant posts are now open and those interested to apply must go through all the necessary details of the IBPS RRB Notification issued by the authority on its official website.
According to reports, this year as many as 43 banks will be participating in the recruitment drive conducted by IBPS for over 9600 vacancies.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2020:
Education Qualification and Work Experience: Candidates who wish to apply must have the desired education qualification as notified by IBPS in its RRB Recruitment Notification 2020.
Officer Scale I Education Qualification: Bachelors or a Graduate degree in any discipline. Candidates having a degree in the following categories will be given preference – Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Information Technology, Management, Law, Pisciculture, Agriculture Marketing and Cooperation, Economics or Accountancy. Working knowledge of Computer is desirable.
Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer Education Qualification: Bachelors or a Graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent marks. Candidates having a degree in the following categories will be given preference – Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Information Technology, Management, Law, Pisciculture, Agriculture Marketing and Cooperation, Economics or Accountancy. Should have 2 years of experience as an officer in a bank/financial institution.
Officer Scale-II Information Technology Officer: Must have graduation in Communication/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology with minimum 50 per cent marks. Certificate in C++, Java, ASP, PHP, VB, VC, OCP is desirable and 1-year experience in the relevant field is desirable.
Officer Scale-II Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate (CA) from ICAI and 1-year experience in the relevant field is desirable.
Officer Scale-II Law Officer: A graduate degree in Law or its equivalent from a recognised university/institution with at least 50 per cent marks long with 2 years experience as an advocate or 2 years as Law Officer in a bank or any financial institution.
Officer Scale-II Treasury Manager: MBA or CA degree with 1-year experience in the relevant field.
Officer Scale-II Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing with 1-year experience in the relevant field.
Officer Scale-II Agricultural Officer: Graduate degree in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, with at least 50 per cent marks and 2 years of relevant experience.
Officer Scale III (Senior Manager) Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks. Candidates having a degree or diploma in Finance/ Banking/ Marketing/ Agriculture/ Veterinary Science/ Agriculture Engineering/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Pisciculture/ Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation/ Information Technology or IT/ Management/ Law/ Economics or Accountancy. 5 years of experience in the relevant field is desirable.
Office Assistant Education Qualification: Bachelors or graduate degree in any discipline. Working knowledge of computer is desirable.
Candidates applying for Officer Scale III (Senior Manager) post must be at least 21 years and not more than 40 years.
Those applying for Officer Scale-II (Manager) posts must be at least 21 years and less than 32 years.
Applicants for Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager) must be at least 18 years and not more than 30 years.
Candidates applying to Office Assistant posts must be at least 18 years and not more than 28 years.
Candidates must note that age relaxation will be given to OBC, SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen applicable for Office Assistant posts only, Widow/Divorced women/Divorced women who have not remarried applicable to Office Assistant posts only, Persons affected by 1984 riots and for Ex-Servicemen commissioned officers who served minimum 5 years military service and were released on Completion of assignment (for officer cadre).
