ISC Exam Results: As reports suggest, out of 851 students, who appeared in Indian School Certificate(ISC),827 have cleared their class 12 examination. A growth of 1.5% can be seen in this year’s passing percentage which is good, as compared to previous year’s i.e. 95.67%. This year, the Board couldn’t conduct all the exams, hence, CISCE released the result based on a special marking scheme. For the subjects for which exams could not be conducted by the Board, students have been evaluated based on their scores obtained in the previous exams.

To boost up this improved percentage, the board gave an option to appear for pending papers, but many said they don’t want to appear. According to Mir Hafeezuddin Ahmed, CEO, NASR, “Students just want to move on. They are happy with their score and many might not want to risk their health to improve their pass percentage. Many have already taken admission and others are looking at options.” 95% is the common percentage secured by students mostly and many schools recording 100% pass percentage.

The students will also be awarded a grade in each subject, and based on the same, the overall grade would be calculated. According to an official statement, “The Chief Minister has decided that all the 10th class students will be promoted to the next class by giving them grades based on their internal assessment marks”. The CISCE has also announced that the last date to apply for re-evaluation is 16 July.
