A lot of speculations have been made and students who are going to take one of the most important exams of their career i.e. JEE and NEET exam are struggling to cope up with the current situation of either exam will be conducted or not in future this year.
Amid a rising furor over conducting JEE and NEET exams amid COVID-19 concerns, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy on Friday sought the entrances to be held after Diwali, 2020.
A concern for students has been marked by BJP MP Subramanian Swamy and in this regard, he is in talks with Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. “Since the amount of latest COVID-19 cases have soared to 70,000 per day, it’s within the balance of public interest that Education Ministry approaches the CJI court at his home and seek an adjournment to November after Deepavali,” tweeted Swamy.

The Supreme Court had on Monday dismissed a plea seeking postponement of JEE (Main) April 2020 and NEET-Undergraduate examinations, which are scheduled to be conducted in September, amid a spurt in the number of COVID-19 cases, saying the valuable year of scholars “cannot be wasted” and life has got to continue.
Justice B.R. Gavai intervened to means that the question of when a vaccine would come was left to experts and therefore the court had no intention to urge into that domain.
There are 11 students from 11 States who signed a petition in seeking postponement of the NEET and the JEE scheduled in September. Students argued that the decision to hold the JEE through online mode and the NEET through offline mode in centres across India was “utterly arbitrary, whimsical and violative of the fundamental right to lifetime of lakhs of affected students.”
