The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has announced an extension of the application deadline for its Apprentice Recruitment program, providing aspiring candidates with additional time to submit their applications. Candidates, who could not fill form till now due to any reason, can now complete the application process. The new deadline is set for November 10, 2024 by the government. This decision comes as part of ONGC’s efforts to ensure that all eligible candidates have the opportunity to participate in the recruitment process. This aims to fill numerous apprentice positions across various trades.
The ONGC Apprentice Recruitment drive is open to a wide range of candidates, from those who have completed their 10th grade to graduates. For this reason, this inclusive approach is designed to attract a diverse pool of applicants with varying educational backgrounds. This extension will allow students and job seekers to gain valuable experience and skills in the oil and gas sector. The recruitment is for 2236 vacant posts of apprenticeship.

All the candidates those who are for this recruitment are going to be shortlisted on the basis of educational qualification. Moreover shortlisted candidates will be informed on their registered email ID. The merit list of selected candidates is proposed to be released on November 15.
Candidates who have secured their position in merit list will have to appear in the document verification process. Document verification is the next stage of recruitment. You will be given appointment on vacant posts only after being successful in the DV test.

Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the ONGC’s official recruitment portal. Furthermore, candidates can apply by visiting NAPS portal apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and NATS portal nats.education.gov.in. The application process is straightforward and involves filling out a detailed form, uploading necessary documents. Furthermore, candidates should keep one thing in mind that they can apply free of cost to join this recruitment. No application fee is required from any category.
To ensure a smooth application process, candidates are encouraged to gather all required documents in advance. Hence, applications submitted after the November 10 deadline will not be considered, making it crucial for candidates to act promptly.
The candidates selected for various posts will earn a stipend. Firstly, candidates selected for Graduate Apprentice posts will be given a stipend of ₹ 9000 per month. Whereas, candidates with three-year diploma, and two-year ITI will be given a stipend of ₹ 8050 per month.
Apart from this, candidates with one-year trade apprenticeship will be given a stipend of ₹ 7700 per month. Moreover, candidates with trade apprenticeship (10th, 12th) will be given a stipend of ₹ 7000 per month.
