IIT Bombay has extended the UCEED 2022 Registration Date.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has extended the UCEED 2022 Registration Date or the registration date of Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2022 once again. According to the latest development, the last date to apply for the entrance exam has been scheduled for November 5, 2021. Candidates can apply through the official website before the closure of the UCEED application process on uceed.iitb.ac.in.
“The last date for online registration with regular fee has been extended till Sunday, 31st October 2021. The last date for online registration with late fee is Friday, 5th November 2021,” the notice on the official website read.
Candidates applying after the regular deadline of the UCEED 2022 application will have to pay an extra fee. Moreover, earlier, the last date to apply for the entrance examination online with extra fee payment was scheduled for Friday, October 29, 2021. However, the date has now been further extended for the candidates.
UCEED examination will be conducted on January 23, 2022 (Sunday), from 9 AM to 12 PM.
UCEED is an exam for admissions into Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at various IIT’s such as IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Guwahati and IIT Bombay. Students must have a Class 12 (or equivalent) passed certificate or appear in 2022, in any stream Arts, Science, Commerce and Humanities to be eligible for UCEED 2022 online application.
“BDes 2021 Admission Supplementary Rounds 1 & 2 are scheduled on November 2 and November 9, 2021, respectively,” another statement released on the UCEED official website says.
Also, the revised refund policy for BDes Admission 2021 has been updated on the official website.
It says, “The last date to withdraw/cancel a provisionally allotted seat is November 5, 2021.”
“For those candidates who withdrew/cancelled their seats on or before November 5, 2021, the seat acceptance fees (after deducting the processing fee) will be refunded to the mentioned bank account details at the time of filling out BDes Application for admission,” the notice further read.
