UPSC Civil Services Final Result 2018: The Union Public Service Commission or UPSC has released the Civil Services final results for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Forest Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) and) Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Examinations on its official website today, April 5, 2019. All the candidates who had appeared in the three phases of the Civil Services Recruitment examination are advised to check the list of shortlisted candidates released on the official website of the Commission i.e. at upsc.gov.in.
Meanwhile, according to the notification released by the UPSC, 759 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various posts under the Commission out of which 361 candidates are known to be belonging to General Category. While, 209 candidates from OBC, 128 candidates from SC and 61 candidates from ST categories have been shortlisted based on the performance of the candidates in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2018.
UPSC had conducted the Civil Services Mains Exam 2018 between September 28 and October 7, 2018. The Commission then selected a total of 1994 candidates based on their performance in the Mains for the Personality Test.
