Vanessa Grimaldi and her boyfriend Joshua Wolfe are engaged. The Bachelor star announced the news on her Instagram handle, sharing cute pictures of the big ask and talked about the relationship.

Vanessa Grimaldi has finally found her happily ever after. The former Bachelor star announced her engagement to her boyfriend Joshua Wolfe on Instagram on Monday. The couple has been together for a year.
Wolfe is an experienced Assistant Director with CJPAC in Canada. He completed his graduation in 2008 from Princeton University. It is reported that the couple lives together in Montreal and Wolfe never fails to get all romantic for Grimaldi even on social media, on their anniversary, he posted their picture and wrote, “One year ago, on December 11th, at exactly 11:14 PM you said I love you.”
The news came to the public after Grimaldi told her Instagram followers that the couple was headed on a road trip to Quebec city “August 9th, 2020 will forever be my favourite DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!” she wrote alongside a series of proposal pictures. “@jbrwolfe YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING AND I CANNOT WAIT TO BE FOREVER AND EVER WITH YOU!!!!!! #Engaged.”

In an exclusive interview with People magazine, Grimaldi said that Wolfe proposed to her atop the Saint-Louis Gate “in what was an intimate, beautiful moment that was candle-lit.” the scene was beautifully set with an accordion player performing songs including “A whole new world” from Aladdin for the fiancés It was absolutely beautiful!” the bride-to-be said.
Vanessa also said in the interview “I knew we were going to get engaged eventually, but I had no idea it was going to happen when it did,” she smiled. “Josh is the first person I am with where I am at complete ease and where I never second-guessed his love for me. I’ve been ready to say YES! I am the luckiest woman!”
Joshua popped the question at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Quebec. The beautiful proposal side was full candles, music and champagne. “She said yes,” he wrote alongside a sweet picture on Instagram.

The couple’s story started when Wolfe approached Grimaldi through social media DM’S. They spoke on the phone for about a month, while she was out of town (they both live in Montreal). When she came back, the couple went on their first date in New York City. Grimaldi also said “I feel at home whenever I am with Josh.
His love and affection for his family is something I’ve always admired about him and what I’ve always looked for in a partner, I love how much he values family and that he loves spending quality time all together. That is how we both were raised and one of the many reasons I grew a strong connection with him from the beginning. Who knew my person was living in the same city as me all these years!”
As reported by the People magazine, the couple will celebrate with a small engagement party at their favourite Lebanese restaurant, Garage Beirut, in Montreal. They also said that a portion of their wedding would be donated to Red Cross, Lebanon to help those who faced losses last week in the Beirut explosion.
Grimaldi who is a special education teacher by profession became a reality TV star when she accepted Nick Viall’s final rose in ‘The Bachelor’, but later they split. The couple even got engaged after five months of the aired proposal. “We just realized we were different people fighting to keep a relationship when ultimately we just weren’t the best fit for each other,” she stated.
When the news of their engagement went viral, wishes from many flooded the internet including Viall who wished his ex well in the Instagram comments, writing, “Well thank god I followed you back a week ago to hear this news. Congrats to you two! Lucky guy.” Other members of ‘Bachelor’ Nation joined in on the congrats, with Viall’s other ex, Rachel Lindsay, commenting, “Omg I told you I could feel your happiness and then this happens!!! I’m so excited for you!!! Congrats!!!!”
