As strange as it sounds, a Instagram influencer from Brazil, Mari Valents, revealed shocking details that she uses her own period blood as face pack to stay young and encourages other women to do the same. The model who has more than 10,000 followers on the social media app, says using her menstrual blood changed her face for good, removed acne and other skin problems that were plaguing her since her teen days.
Mari Valents treats herself with her period blood once a month and adds that the blood isn’t as dirty as society claims it to be. She says the blood which comes out of a woman’s body every month is clean and natural and added that menstrual blood is a rich source of nutrients, minerals and hormones. However, there is no scientific basis on the subject that period blood contains all these minerals.

Speaking in length about her menstrual blood face pack, Mari said on her Instagram handle, “Our menstrual blood is clean, girls, don’t fall for those that are dirty blood because it isn’t, it’s something natural in our body.” The model added that period blood doesn’t smell dirty and instead smells like iron. “Unlike what many people think, menstrual blood smells like normal blood, like the smell of iron.”
The Brazilian model continued that she suffered from severe skin problems during her teenage years and experimented with several cosmetic brands only to finally realize the secret to her glowing face is right in her body. “I had some skin problems in my teens, but after I learned to take care of myself, my skin changed a lot.”
She added a woman’s skin can remain young for a long time when period blood is used as a face pack. “This improvement has a lot to do with the fact that I use menstrual blood on my face once a month, I believe this is one of the secrets to keeping your skin always young.”
However, several users on Instagram called her out saying the model is doing these stunts just to be visible online and gain more followers with her strange captions and eventually convert them to OnlyFans subscribers and rake in money.
