Sanjay Dutt Diagnosed With Lung Cancer

Sadak 2 star Sanjay Dutt is taking a minor break from work to focus on medical treatment.

Bollywood superstar Sanjay has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Recently Sanjay was admitted to Lilavati hospital after complaining of breathlessness on August 8, after undergoing medical observation he was later discharged.

The 61-year-old actor was also tested for Covid-19 for which the result came negative. He later tweeted, “Just wanted to assure everyone that I am doing well. As of now, I am undergoing a medical examination and my Covid-19 report is negative. With the help and care of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Lilavati hospital, I ‘ll be home in a day or two. Thank you for your support and wishes and blessings,” This was tweeted on the first day he was admitted to hospital.

The Sadak 2 actor earlier posted on Twitter, saying he would be taking a minor break from his work commitments to focus on medical treatment. In his post he also urged his fans not to worry or unnecessarily speculate, stating he would be returning soon with the people’s love and wishes.

“I am taking a short break from my professional commitments for some medical treatments. My family and friends are by my side and I request all my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. with your love and prayers, I ‘ll be home soon! his post read.

Renowned film expert and Editor-in-chief of Film Information, Komal shared the news on his twitter handle. “Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with Lung cancer. Let’s pray for his speedy recovery, he posted. According to reports by Film Information, the actor will be going to the US for the treatment.

Sanjay’s upcoming movies are Sadak 2 which will be premiering of Disney+Hotstar. The actor was last seen in movies in 2019 in Kalank which helmed under the banner of Dharma Production also starred Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhat, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and others. He was also part of Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama Panipat, and political drama Prassthanam.
