Sara Ali Khan celebrates her 25th birthday today on August 12, 2020. She made her debut in Bollywood in the year 2018 in the movie Simmba starring opposite Ranveer Singh. The movie was an action thriller helmed by Rohit Shetty. Sara before plunging into films completed her education and graduated from Columbia University, USA with history and political science as her majority subjects.
In an interview with Zoom TV, she revealed that she prioritized education before jumping into films and this fact had baffled many. She had said earlier, “I have educated myself even though I am a heroine so many people are baffled at that and I am proud of that.”

The Kedarnath actress had also said, ”I believe that a good education is also important for exposure and experience before getting into any field, I always knew I would act.” In an interview with Times of India, she said, ”I always had an insight of becoming an actor but I was also inclined towards education and I am of the view that my decision did not glimmer my ambition of becoming an actor because I have been brought up in a family where my parents have always mouthed about the significance of education balanced life and the value of exposure and experience in general.”
Sara celebrated her birthday with her family at an idyllic getaway, she later shared pictures on her Instagram story. Sara began her celebration at midnight with balloons, champagne and especially a cake. Simmba actress was seen in one of the pictures dressed in pyjamas, posing with many balloons and a bottle of champagne.
In another picture, she changed into a pinstripe romper which was clicked in another corner of the house which also showed unicorn banner in the backdrop. At last, she went to share the picture of yummy looking birthday cakes as one of the cakes was arranged by her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan which read “Happy Birthday, Appa Jaan”.
Sara Ali Khan made a promising debut in the year 2018 with a blockbuster Simmba followed by another hit Kedarnath. She was seen in Imtiaz Ali directorial Love Aaj Kal 2 which failed to impress the audience. The actress is now looking forward to the release of Coolie No 1 with Varun Dhawan. Sara also has Atrangi Re in the pipeline.
