The actor has confirmed this news on his Instagram handle, further informing his fans and well-wishers about his situation. He mentioned that he has tested Asymptomatic positive for Covid-19 and is under home quarantine. He thanked his fans who prayed for him.
Mr. Kumar is currently shooting for “Excuse Me Madam” which will be broadcasted on Star Bharat. On his workfront he is best known for his role as Rosesh Sarabhai in the popular comedy show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. Alongwith with Rajesh, Summet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguli, Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah and Deven Bhojani were seen in lead roles.

The first season of the show was released in 2004. And it gained immense love from the fans. Considering this, the makers decided to come up with the second season of the show. The second season came in 2017 and was streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
Kumar will get another test done soon. And if that comes negative he will resume his shooting. He further emphasized upon the taboos attached to Coronavirus and asked to spread awareness. He explained If someone’s points come between 25 and 32 then he/she isn’t a spreader, while his points counted 27-28. He further added that if your points are below 24 then you’re a super spreader and must take extra precautions.
For uninformed, Rajesh, once in an interview with one of the daily told How he felt while doing comedy roles. He expressed his happiness and told that if someone is offerings you the comedy roles only if he/she knows that you suits in these roles. He added that its not easy to do comedy roles. He wished for the more offerings and want to do more such roles in the future and entertain viewers.
