Due to covid-19 situation everything was shut down and there was a temporary lockdown just to control things and the lockdown has hammered the single screen theatres financially then multiplexes.

Films producers and directors release their film on OTT platform just to recover their cost and make way for other films to get a release date or can release on the announced date.

As per reports, single screen theatres and multiplex owners are not in the mood of negotiating and the government might allow theatres and multiplexes to open. But the owners of the theatres and multiplexes are in a fix thinking that even if they do open their theatres, will they get a good footfall to continue running their business.

Approximately from 5 months there is a temporary lockdown and the film which are made for the release in theatres are now getting a release on OTT Platform.

Guidelines Laid Out By The Government To Open Theatres:

The temperature in theaters should be 24 degree or more. Theatres should maintain social distancing and should be cleaned by one show after another. Wave Cinemas president Yogesh Raizada, said that there will be a 10% chance that people will come and watch films in theatres and this is enough, if they will get a chance to reopen cinema theatres.

As per the information received from Delite cinemas owner Rajkumar Mehrotra, he said that all the guidelines which will be received by them from govt to open theatres, they will obey and take actions accordingly and as all the new films spot the easy way to get it release on the third platform we are left with no other option but to release old movies or movies which are already released on OTT Platforms.

We just hope that as everything gets open with a new normal condition there will be a time when cinema theatres will also be allowed to open.
