China withdraws its troops from the Galwan Valley after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Ladakh, sending out a stern warning.

China withdraws troops at Galwan Valley

China has withdrawn its troops from contested border with India as per government sources. Further, Beijing says both sides are taking effective measures to ease border tensions after skirmish that killed 20 Indian soldiers.

Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi made a surprise visit to Ladakh in the Northern Himalayan region on Friday where he sent a clear message to China after the loss of Indian soldiers who died in a brutal hand-to-hand combat.

India’s responsible stance and message at the LAC has been globally recognized. Doors invested in India-China relationship in Beijing are also of the opinion that the present stand-of should be resolved. India has sent out a decisive message that national security is paramount, as per the sources.

As a result Chinese have ramped up their presence since May, now they have started the escalation process and dismantling their tents. India claims 38000 square kilometre of land currently under Chinese control while Beijing stakes claim tour 90000 square kilometre area within Indian territory.

The reason to this by analysts are Chinese push back against India’s building of military infrastructure at the de-facto borders and India’s unilateral move last year to repeal Article 370 of the Indian constitution.

The first signs of disengagement between Indian and Chinese troops on the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the soldiers of both sides have started moving back at PP 14 in Galwan area. Similarly, in PP15 and PP17A in the hot springs sector.

As per the resources of daily news, “There was tentative signs of climb down at some friction points 5 days after the Corps Commander level talks agreed on a step-by-step deescalation. Under this, both sides were supposed to withdraw manpower and structures and a verification was to be done by July 5. Similar movement of vehicles of the Chinese army is also seen at Gogra hot spring area”, the sources said.
