International Yoga Day 2019: The world celebrates 5th international Yoga Day today, June 21, 2019. Yoga is a practice to bring harmony to the body, mind, and soul. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was the first to suggest this very day to be celebrated as Yoga day worldwide during a speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 27, 2014, will also be performing Yoga along with several participants at an event in Jharkhand’s Ranchi. According to reports, as many as 30,000 people are likely to take part in the main event tomorrow.
It has been learned that securities have been beefed up for the event.
