Amid the ongoing rift between Kangana Ranaut and the Shiv Sena over the Sushant Singh Rajput case and war of words, the Mumbai police have now arrested a man who claims to be a fan of the actor and had threatened Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut.

Upon this, a senior officer of the Kolkata police informed Hindustan Times that the man is identified as Palash Bose who is the resident of Tollygunge. He was arrested by a team of Mumbai Police and would be produced before the Alipore court today for transit remand.

According to the reports Bose is the gym instructor, who threatened Raut on a video call with the dire consequences. Reportedly, he had posed as a gang member of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and threatened Raut. It is claimed that the gym instructor also made calls reportedly to Uddhav Thackeray’s office. However, Bose the resident of Tollygunge, is under custody with the help of the Kolkata police.

Anirban Guhathakurta, who is representing Bose in court, said that they had submitted before the court that Bose is no way connected to the case. Mumbai Police found out about him while tracking IP addresses. Now ATS is investigating whether he had recently made threat calls to the Chief Minister, Home Minister and the NCP chief.

All this started with an ongoing war of words between the Shiv Sena and Kangana Ranaut. Panga queen, Kangana had called Mumbai “Pakistan- occupied Kashmir (PoK)”, taking a while attacking at Shiv Sena, and also said she alone has feared the Mumbai police and movie mafia gang.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), which works for Shiv Sena on Wednesday knocked down some “illegal alterations” made at Ranaut’s bungalow in Bandra. Even her office in Pali Hills has been demolished by BMC. However, the Bombay High Court has stayed the demolition process initiated by the BMC for illegal construction at the actor’s bungalow after Ranaut moved the court challenging the notice issued by the Mumbai civic body.
