The probe order of the high court came after a retired professor S Kamaraj filed a petition saying that both his daughters Geeta and Lata were brainwashed and were asked to reside inside the yoga premises in Coimbatore. He further alleged that both his daughters were also not allowed to maintain any contact with their family.
On the other hand, the Isha Yoga Foundation has denied all the allegations and came up saying that both the women had been staying inside the foundation’s premises willingly. Both the women were also produced in the court where both of them had also given their confirmation on this.
The Chief Justice also came up with a remarkable statement saying that both women had joined the foundation when they were 24 and 27 respectively. Not just both of them had adapted themselves to the surroundings of the ashram and they were leaving there willingly.
