Twitterati trolls PM Narendra Modi while he addresses the nation in 67th episode of Mann ki Baat

The social media platform is really sensitive when it comes to politics. Celebrities to politicians and well-known personalities are often prey to the trolls on social media. Today, ‘tonorrow’ is trending on Twitter after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tweet on his official handle spell ‘Tomorrow’ wrongly.

However, a Twitter user confirmed that the tweet has been morphed and people should check the facts before trolling a person on social media. Well, humans tend to make mistakes, however, social media mistakes can even take a toll on one’s mental health. Meanwhile, PM Modi is currently addressing the people of the country in his Mann ki Baat monthly radio programme.

On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Modi said, on this day, India defeated Pakistan, and we will never be able to forget this day.” He further said that the war took place in such a situation and time that nobody can ever forget. India wanted a peaceful relationship with Pakistan, but that did not happen. In his speech, Modi talked about the COVID-19 situation and highlighted that the country’s recovery compared to other countries is better and that the fatality rate is also very less.

He even expressed solidarity with flood-affected people in Assam and Bihar due to heavy rainfall across India. The PM also said that irrespective of COVID-19 crisis and restrictions, Independence Day will be celebrated. Since coronavirus is not yet gone and it’s spreading faster in many regions people need to take all necessary precautions ensuring safety measures such as wearing a mask, maintain sufficient distance from others and wash hands. PM Narendra Modi also spoke at length about National Handloom Day and said that local ventures, artisans, handlooms and handicrafts, should be supported.

He encouraged the nation to wear masks saying that “whenever you feel like taking off your masks, think of frontline soldiers. Villages have been making extraordinary efforts against Covid-19.” He highlighted the efforts undertaken in villages to fight against the ongoing pandemic. He said, “With a positive approach, a disaster can be turned around into opportunity.”
