Are you are looking for a smartphone with super fast speed, seamless gaming performance and super video quality, and that too in pocket-friendly budget? If yes, then your wait is going to end soon.

Motorola, one of the recognized smartphone brand, is working on an entry-level 5G smartphone. Motorola launched many popular and bestselling smartphones under the G series including G5S, G8, G7. The new smart phone is said to be part of its popular Moto G series and the smartphone is expected to be launched soon. Ahead of the official announcement, key details of ‘Moto G 5G Plus’ have already leaked online.

The listings give away a few important details. For instance, the US FCC listing reveals the phone will support GPS, Glonass, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and 5G connectivity.

The TUV Rheinland certification reveals the Moto G 5G Plus will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It will also support 20W fast charging. On Geekbench, Moto G5 Plus is seen with an octa-core Qualcomm processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. As per the reports it will run on snapdragon 690 and if it does, it will be the first smartphone that will run on snapdragon 600 series processor. The chipset is clocked up to 1.8Ghz. The lighter version Moto G5g is said to be powered by snapdragon 765.

As per rumors, it comes with 48Mp primary camera, full HD+ screen, 21:9 aspect ratio. The phone will have 90 Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and better gaming experiences. Realme X2 Pro, Realme 6 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro are already available in the market with 90Hz refresh rate.

According to reports, Moto G 5G Plus will also be available in 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage option. The phone is said to be priced at EUR 398 ( ₹33,600 approximately).

If launched, it will be the cheapest 5G phone from Motorola so far. It could also be one of the cheapest 5G phones in the market right now.

Smartphone companies are hard at work to launch more affordable 5G phones to gain stake in the next-generation mobile wireless technology. Earlier this year, several premium phones launched with 5G support. Huawei is also rumored to be working on affordable 5G phones.

In India, the connectivity isn’t available so far. But phones such as iQoo 3 (Rs 34,990), Mi 10 Pro (Starting from Rs 49,999), Realme X50 Pro 5G (Rs 39999), One Plus 85G series (Starting from Rs 41,999), Motorola Edge+ (Rs 74,999) and Oppo Find X 5G (Rs 64,990) have already launched with 5G support.

Final Verdict – Looking at the price of Moto G 5G series, it will directly compete with IQoo3. Given that the phone will boost only 6 GB ram, it is possible that it may lag in the race of being the best 5G smartphone as IQoo3 is powered with 8 GB ram and more powerful snapdragon 865 processor. Other smartphones are priced higher, but they too come with amazing specifications.

Let’s see what Moto G 5G can bring to the table. Will keep you updating. Stay tuned for more!
