Joe Biden says ''I'm Joe Biden's husband'' after being introduced by his wife Jill Biden in a video aired at the Democratic National Convention.
On August 18, when Joe Biden appeared after his wife Jill Biden’s speech at the Democratic National Convention, the presidential acknowledged himself as ”I’m Joe Biden’s husband” after Jill introduced him in a video talking about his accomplishments.
However, as the video went viral all over the internet, supporters of the former vice president defended Biden saying he said “I m Jill Biden’s husband.” Biden often sarcastically refers to himself as “Jill Biden’s husband.”

On PBS News Hour after the National Education Association (NEA) introduced Biden he jokingly sounded like he mentioned: “As lily already indicated, I am Joe Biden’s husband, Joe Biden.” There were few more claiming that Joe had a bit of stutter while saying his line, so it is possible he was saying “Jill Biden” and the name sounds very similar to Joe.
NEA President Lily Eskelsen Gracia introduced Biden, who spent some time talking about his wife, Jill Biden began to speak. The question raised again when Joe Biden showed up with wife Jill after her speech at the Democratic Convention. Many people claimed that he stated he was “Jill Biden’s husband” at that moment.

Just in April 2019, it was reported by The Hill that he jokingly introduced himself as “Jill Biden’s husband” when he started off his campaign.
All of it happened when Joe Biden was addressing the delegates of the NEA during the union’s Representative Assembly. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event was virtual.
After the introduction, Biden talked about his education plan, and also talked about his plans for federal funding for the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, as reported by EdWeek.org.
However Donald Trump. Jr. in a tweet claimed that Joe Biden calling himself as “Joe Biden’s husband” was a sign of a ”bigger problem.” There was a section of people that said people are hearing him wrong and he mentioned “Jill Biden’s husband,” and on the other hand people were insisting he said ”Joe Biden’s husband.”
It looks like it is going to be in the air for some time. It is hard to find out what exactly he stated. In past as well, he’s been known for joking about how he is better known for being ”Jill Biden’s husband.”
