IGNOU Term-End-Exam Schedule: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will begin the term-end examinations from September 17 to October 16 in two shifts as per the latest notification released on the official website, ignou.ac.in. A detailed schedule along with the timings and instructions have also been released on the official website of IGNOU. Only final year students have to appear for the examinations.
As per the IGNOU date sheet, the exams will be held in two different shifts- morning session, between 10 am and 1 pm. While the evening session will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exams will be held across 900 exam centres as designated for the purpose. The June term-end examination will take place by following the social distancing norms. The varsity has also informed to change the examination centre due to the occurrence of COVID-19.
There are different sets of degrees which are provided to the students. These can be categorised as-postgraduate and undergraduate degrees, postgraduate certificate (PG certificate) and certificate, postgraduate diploma (PGD) and diploma, and appreciation or awareness-level programmes. These will be given from September 17. Over three lakh students will appear for final year examinations of IGNOU. These examinations will be held across 900 examination centres across the country.
The IGNOU also noted that if the students will not be able to appear for the Term-End Examination due to Covid-19 related reasons or any other reason, then they will be allowed to appear in the December 2020 Term-End Examination of the University. The Examination Fee submitted by the student for the June 2020 TEE will be adjusted for December 2020 TEE.

The IGNOU June TEE was first scheduled to be conducted between June 1 and June 27, which was postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The IGNOU students will be in touch with their separate and respective regional centres for the latest updates on the term-end exams. The IGNOU admit card will be available for those who have filled the examination form for June Term End examination. Their IGNOU hall ticket 2020 will be released on the official website of IGNOU – ignou.ac.in.
This link will take the candidate to the login window wherein they’ve to use 9-digit enrollment number. They need to select the respective programme for which they’ve registered for. It is necessary for them to download the admit card. IGNOU admit cards will be released for the final students only.
The admit card for the students of the first and the second year will be issued later. The exams are expected to be held in December. The students who will not be able to take the test from September 17 to October 16 (as per the date of their respective paper) due to the COVID-19 situation, the varsity has made a provision to provide a second chance to re-appear for the examination.
