MAT 2020: Exam Dates Out, IBT Mode Registration, Admit Card, Eligibility and Exam Pattern

MAT 2020 important dates for PBT mode exam have been announced by AIMA. Find out MAT PBT registration dates, admit card availability date, exam date and result date here.

MAT 2020 PBT: AIMA has released the exam schedule for Management Aptitude Test or MAT 2020 Paper Based Test (PBT) for the September session. Earlier, it had declared dates for IBT mode. Candidates who do not wish to apply for IBT can now register for PBT mode.

MAT exam will take place as Remote Proctored Internet-Based Test from August 27 to September 2, 2020,in multiple sessions, whereas it will commence on September 20, 2020, in PBT mode. The decision is taken due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in India.

Latest Updates on MAT 2020

  1. August 26, 2020: MAT 2020 PBT mode exam schedule released.
  2. August 24, 2020: MAT IBT 2020 Phase 1 Admit Card Released.August 23, 2020: For MAT IBT Check System Compatibility, Download MSB Browser.
  3. August 12, 2020: AIMA launched Troubleshooting Guide for MAT IBT Mode.
  4. July 15, 2020: MAT IBT Mode phase 1 was conducted from May 25 to July 5, 2020, results for which have been declared. June 10, 2020:  IBT mode June session was concluded. Results can be checked on the official website
  5. May 7, 2020: Registration for IBT Mock Official Test began on the website at a nominal fee to get candidates familiar with internet-based tests
  6. April 29, 2020: AIMA announced the introduction of MAT IBT mode in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

MAT Registration in IBT Mode

Newly introduced IBT mode requires certain pre-specified conditions like a computer with webcam and internet facilities. Application Fee for IBT Mode is INR 1650.   • Going by MAT 2020 Eligibility, any graduate or final year student can apply for MAT 2020. Interested candidates can now apply for MAT 2020 IBT Mode as well. 
  • As per MAT 2020 Exam Pattern, it is a 2.5-hour long test having 200 MCQs. Each correct answer fetches 1 mark and an incorrect answer takes away 0.25 marks. MAT 2020 Syllabus consists of Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills and Indian and Global Environment sections.
