Disha Patani is all set to romance Kartik Aaryan in an upcoming rom-com, which is going to be produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film will be directed by Anees Bazmee and the movie will have Kartik and Disha share screen space for the first time.
Disha Patani, the sensation of Bollywood is on a signing spree. The Baaghi 2 actress is all set to be seen in a romantic comedy opposite Kartik Aaryan. According to reports, the film is going to be produced by Bhushan Kumar and it will be directed by Anees Bazmee. The film has not yet been given any title yet however, it will go on floors in the middle of this year. The film is likely to be shot in Mumbai and abroad as well.
Producer Bhushan Kumar has reportedly praised the leading lady roped in for this film. He said, that Disha’s work in Bharat was good and she has performed well in that film. He further said that it is interesting to present fresh pair onscreen. And undeniably people love to see fresh pairs romance onscreen these days. It has also been said that Disha will be paying the role of a girl next door in the flick and both Kartik and Disha’s character will be of college going students.
On the work front, Kartik was seen in the film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and has already worked with producer Bhushan Kumar earlier. This film will mark Kartik’s third film with Kumar. Meanwhile, Disha is working for Salman Khan’s Bharat, which will hit the theatres this year. Bharat is also being produced by Bhushan Kumar and is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, which stars Salman Khan in the lead role.
