Tovino Thomas all set to star in his upcoming movie Kala
Fans of Bear Grylls’ Man vs Wild need to take a deep breath, as the relationship between man and animal will be seen very soon in Mollywood. Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, forensic actor, Tovino Thomas shared the first poster of their upcoming movie Kala.
The movie is directed by Rohith. Thomas and Rohith are coming together for the first time. Thomas shared the poster with the caption, “Next… #KALA (sic).” The names of the actors who are a part of the cast are also on the poster.
Directed by VS Rohith, the film is set to explore the relationship between a man and an animal. Kala’s story would also touch upon human evolution, exclaimed the director in the interview.

Rohith in an interview revealed that Thomas was impressed with the narration and immediately agreed to be a part of the film. Kala’s shooting will go on the floors as soon as the Kerala government grants permission, said the director.
Apart from Tovino, a dog named Bazigar will be seen in a crucial role in the film. Actors Lal, Divya Pillai and Sumesh Moor are part of the supporting cast. After wrapping up Kala the duo will begin shooting for a romantic film, which was announced in 2019.
Tovino will be in a bearded look in the film. Funded by Juvis Productions, the technical crew of the film includes cinematographer Akhil George and editor Livingston Mathew.

Tovino Thomas is expected to join the sets of Basil Joseph’s Minnal Murali soon after the lockdown ends. The movie that marks the reunion of Basil Joseph and Tovino Thomas after the great success of Godha (2017) is reported to be a super-hero flick.
The official poster of the forthcoming movie was released by the makers a few months ago. Besides the following films, Tovino Thomas is expected to play an important role in Srinath Rajendran’s Kurup.
The gangster-drama starring Dulquer Salmaan and Sobhita Dhulipala is reported to feature Tovino in the role of Chacko. Thereafter, Tovino Thomas has Jitin Lal’s Ajayante Randam Moshanam and K.S. Bava’s Karachi 81 in the pipeline.
