Golf legend Tiger Woods had multiple leg injuries after the serious roll-over car crash on Tuesday. The professional golfer was recovering a back surgery when he met with the accident making him undergo another long surgery for his serious leg injuries sustained in the car crash. While law enforcement officials claimed that he was fortunate enough to have survived such an impact, the 45-year old golfer is well aware that his career might be in jeopardy.
Reportedly, a source close to the legendary American golfer told the media that Woods is going to have a tough time taking serious decisions about his future as he recovers. Speaking of his career an insider revealed that Tiger Woods doesn’t want his career to end like this. If there’s any way he can continue playing golf then he definitely wouldn’t stop.
Meanwhile, Tiger Wood’s representatives on Tuesday night released an official statement on Twitter regarding the golf pro’s condition and acknowledged his injuries were severe. The Twitter post mentioned that the Golfer is currently awake, responsive and recovering in his hospital bed.
The Twitter post also revealed that Woods underwent emergency surgery to repair significant orthopaedic injuries to his lower right leg and ankle. The surgery included rod insertion into his tibia and the use of a combination of screws and pins to stabilize additional injuries to his foot and ankle.
