Kanye West held his first presidential rally in Charleston and the rapper went off the cuff and broke down in tears saying that he and his wife Kim Kardashian were on the verge of aborting their first child North. Close aides to Kim reveal that she is ”concerned, shocked and upset” about his statements and revealed that one day her daughter ”might read the comments when she grows up.”
The presidential candidate did acknowledge during the speech that if his comments upset his wife and divorce him, he would still be happy that she brought his daughter North to this world.
In his comments, Kanye revealed that Kim told him being pregnant and not wanting to have a child on a call while he was in Paris. However, he revealed that he had a sign from God to affirm his decision of having the child.
Apart from abortion, he touched on a number of topics and went on ranting spree against the famous 19th century historical personality Harriet Turbman, spoke about pornography, did speak on gun control, argued policy with attendees and even broke down while talking about his mother. The crowd, especially when he spoke of Turbman, notably bellowed in opposition.
It is yet to be clear whether the 43-year-old rapper is seriously considering his bid for the presidency, as parts of his comments of his chaotic speech has gone viral. There have also been concerns about his mental health, as he previously made public of his struggle with Bipolar Disorder in 2018 and had to cancel 21 concert dates.
Earlier Kim had defended her husband on his rants and tweeted that he is a ”free thinker and entitled to his own opinion” and also endorsed his presidential bid by posting the emoji of the US flag.
However, according to close sources, it is revealed that things have not been in good shape of late between Kanye and Kim and her family are ”concerned” over the recent comments he made on abortion revealing that the couple was almost close to aborting their daughter, North.
Kanye had missed the deadline to his presidential bid falling short to qualify for the ballot in several states. He managed to qualify at the last moment with meeting requirements before qualifying to the Oklahoma presidential ballot before filing the deadline and declared his presidential candidacy on 4th July on his social media handle.
